The Mission of the Navy JROTC program is to prepare students (cadets) for life after high school graduation. We accomplish this mission by providing a team-like environment where all cadets have a sense of worth as they learn moral values, organizational skills, responsibility, citizenship, and leadership. We hold cadets accountable for their responsibilities. Each cadet’s high school grades are our first priority. A cadet’s eligibility to rise in leadership positions depend first and foremost on his/her grades. The Naval Science Instructor (NSI) and ultimately the Senior Naval Science Instructor (SNSI) are responsible for the conduct and mission of Floyd Central-Lanesville Navy JROTC.
